Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026

AetherOne is built so that we know as little about you as possible. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app collects, what it never collects, and the controls you have.

What we collect

  • Account information (your email), if you choose to create an account, handled through your chosen authentication provider.
  • Usage preferences, stored locally on your device.
  • Optional, anonymized crash reports — only if you opt in.

What we never collect

  • The content of your messages or notifications (unless you explicitly enable a per-app summary, processed only on-device).
  • Location, contacts, microphone, camera, call log or browsing history.
  • Any advertising identifier, and any data from the Adaptive Intent Mesh — which stays on your device and auto-deletes.

On-device processing

The Intent Mesh, notification triage, focus and wellness engines run entirely on your device. No behavioral data is transmitted to our servers.

Optional cloud assist

If you enable cloud AI fallback, anonymized task requests are sent over an encrypted connection for that single request and are not stored afterward. It is off by default, and the in-app transparency log marks every time it runs.

Your rights

  • Access: export your data from Settings → Privacy → Export.
  • Delete: remove everything from Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
  • Correct: update your preferences at any time.
  • Opt out: disable any cloud feature at any time.

Data retention

  • Intent Mesh data: auto-deleted on your timer (24 hours by default).
  • Wellness logs: kept until you delete them or uninstall.
  • Transparency log: a 30-day rolling window, stored locally only.
